Ciel Phantomhive X Reader Chapter 13

~Your POV~

It was the next day, the 16th of December. Ciel had gotten somewhat better and would be able to continue working fully tomorrow. Everyone was thrilled over his stupendeous recovery.
You and Ciel were still both sleeping together as you had been before, but the blanket on the bed was ontop of both of you. The sunlight came in, reflecting onto your eyes. It sent your brain a signal to open your eyes, to which it complied. Your eyes slowly opened partly, and you looked up to see you were snuggled up to Ciel. What made you blush was that his arm was wrapped around your waist protectively. You heard a slight chuckles, and you realized the voice was Sebastians.
"Good morning, M'lady."
"How long have you been there?"
"Not for too long. Now, lets get you ready for the day. Lady Elizabeth is visiting today."
It was like you were shot in the chest. How could you of forgotten about her? Ciel's real fiance. Oh god, how would she react to this? What would they do? Suddenly, she felt a hand hold onto her arm, which made her flinch. When she felt the coolness on the thumb, her body relaxed. "Don't worry, ___[f/n]___, I can handle it. You don't need to get freaked out over it." Your responce was just a nod.
"If you could go, I will start to help the young lord change while you start to eat breakfast." With another silent nod, you got up and left since you were still in your clothing from yesterday.

Soon enough, when you were nearly done with your meal, Ciel still hadn't come down yet. He must've been having a hard time trying to do things normally while still sick. As you were thinking, there was a knock at the door; it knocked you out of your thoughts. You got up, having already finished your meal really, and walked over to the door. When you opened the door, you felt like you were poisoned again- it was Lady Elizabeth.
She smiled cheerily towards you after giving you a big hug. "Oh, hello ___[f/n]___, you look fantastic! I'm here to see Ciel, I was out of the country which made me feel horrible, so I came today to spend the day with him!"
"A-ah, well...."
"Hm?" Her head cocked to the side, confused slightly. You took in a deep breath in, then released it. You explained what had happened 2 days ago, and her eyes widened in responce. "M-my poor Ciel! I must go see him right now!" She pushed by your suddenly, making you fall butt-first onto the ground, as she ran upstairs, calling out the young lord's name as she ran.
"Geez..." You got up, rubbing your lower area. "Well, I hope Ciel handles this well..."


~Ciel's POV~

Sebastian had finished helping him fully be ready with him in this condition. He had gotten annoyed with him a few times because he wanted to get this done quickly so he could go eat and have this over with. Suddenly, he could hear a high-pitched voice calling his name. "-iiiiiiiel!~"
"Oh great, well I suppose its better to have the talk now..."
His fiance burst into the room. "Oh Ciel, I heard the news from ___[f/n]___, are you ok?!" She then proceeded to hug him.
"Y-yes, I'm f-fine. P-please let go of m-me!"
"Oh right, sorry," she said apolegetically, letting go of him.
"I need to talk to you about something."
"Oh, sure." With the agreement confirmed, Sebastian left, closing the door behind him. "What do you want to talk about?"
"Well... its about our engagement."
"Ooooh, what about it?~"
"Well.... don't you think its... sort of odd how the two of us, cousins, are getting married?"
"Not really..."
"Well I do. I love you but... like a sister. It would be weird for me to marry my sister."
"A.... are you calling the proposal off?!"
"Uh...."
"YOU JERK!" She had tears in her eyes, and they started to stream down her cheeks. "You like that, that GIRL more than me, don't you?! Is she better than me, huh?!"
"It isn't that, Lizzie, its-"
"FINE, GO HAVE HER!" And with that, she stormed out of the door. Ciel sighed in a tired tone.


~Your POV~

You were sitting at the edge of the staircase at the bottom, waiting to see how it went. From the distance, you could hear crying. You grew stiff. It didn't go well. Quickly, you got up when you heard her call for you. "YOU!" Then, you felt a firm grip on your shoulder as you got turned around suddenly 180 degrees, losing your balance slightly, then getting punched right across the face. Her punch was firm and strong, surprising from this young lady.
You were sure she was going to let you go, but she did it again. "How DARE you steal MY Ciel AWAY from me!" Your eyes were wide before you flinched back, preparing for the next punch, but it never came; something was holding it back. An eyelid lifted up slowly, revealing Sebastian was holding her fist back.
"I think you should take your leave now, M'lady." With a glare, she pushed you away with the hand she was holding you with, making you fall down to the ground, and stormed out the door. There was a loud slam as she shut the door, most likely on purpose.
The butler then helped you up. "Are you alright?"
"Yeah, she sure does pack a punch, though," you answered, having a hand over your eye; she had ended up blackening it, and it stung like a son-of-a-bitch.
"Let me get you something to put on that," he said, quickly leaving then coming back a few seconds later with a snow pack, snow wrapped up snuggly in a rag or cloth, and put it over your eye. You then took it from him and held it in place.
"Thank you, Sebastian."
"Of course, M'lady."
Maybe with Lizzie out of the way, things would look up. Well, once you could look up with both of your normal ___[e/c]___ eyes.
